The Type 2 was Volkswagen's second mass-production vehicle series, after the Beetle. It was built as a van, a pickup and a small bus, with up to 23 windows. The idea was first sketched in a doodle dated 23 April 1947, with the driver at the very front. This example is a 1965 Deluxe 23-window bus in light green and beige over a gray and beige interior.
