The second-generation Ranchero was based on Ford's compact Falcon. It grew a little along with the Falcon for 1964, using the same basic body for 1964 and 1965. For 1965 an alternator replaced the generator in all Ford cars. Ours is a California car on its original black plates, showing 44,000 miles. A 302 cubic-inch V8 with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor runs through a three-speed automatic. Finished in black over a black interior.
