The P1800 was styled by Pelle Petterson under Pietro Frua, and the first cars were assembled by Jensen. After about 6,000 cars, production moved to Volvo in 1963 and the name became 1800S, with S for Sverige, Sweden. Its B18 four has five main bearings, and from 1963 an M41 gearbox with Laycock overdrive was a popular option. The one we have is a 1964 Volvo 1800S in blue and grey over a red interior.
