The 23-window bus is the sunroof DeLuxe version of the split-window Type 2, with eight small skylight windows added to the roof. The 23-window version also had curved windows in the rear corners. For the 1964 model year the wider rear door dropped the corner windows, making it a 21-window. The one we have is a 1963 Volkswagen 23-window bus in teal, with a trailer.
