The DS was the first mass-production car with both hydropneumatic suspension and disc brakes, with self-levelling and adjustable ride height. The station wagon arrived in 1958, sold as the Break, Safari, Estate or Wagon depending on the market. The standard Break had two side-facing seats in the load area, and the Safari saw use as a camera car. Ours is a 1961 Citroen DS19 station wagon in black over a black interior.
