The Datsun Sports roadsters, sold as the Fairlady in Japan, were forerunners of the Z cars. The SPL212 of 1960 was the first vehicle to bear the Fairlady name, with steel bodywork on a Datsun 223 truck base. Only 288 were built through 1961, all for export. The one we have is a 1960 Datsun Fairlady roadster in red over a black interior.
