The first Thunderbird was a two-seat convertible built for 1955 to 1957, the first two-seat Ford since 1938. For 1957 it got a reshaped front bumper, a larger grille and tailfins, bigger taillights and the spare moved back inside the trunk. Its Dial-o-Matic power seats slid back when the ignition was turned off. The one we have is a 1957 Thunderbird convertible in white.
