The 851 Speedster was styled by Gordon Buehrig, who also designed the Cord 810. It wears sweeping fenders, a backswept radiator and external exhaust pipes along the sides. A Columbia dual-ratio rear axle, switched by a steering-wheel lever, pairs with the three-speed gearbox to give six speeds. Auburn built 887 Speedsters across three series from 1928 to 1936. The one we have is a 1935 851 Boattail Speedster in black and silver over a black interior.
