The Model A followed the Model T, with a 40-horsepower 3.3-liter L-head four and a three-speed gearbox. It was the first Ford with the standard set of controls: clutch and brake pedals, throttle and gearshift. It was also one of the first production cars with safety glass in the windshield. The two-door sedan was called the Tudor. This example is a 1931 Model A two-door sedan in black, with a manual gearbox.
