Q: What happens after I submit my car?
We’ll add your car to our roster. If a production request comes in that matches, we’ll reach out to you directly.
Q: Do I need a certain type of car to qualify?
We work with everything from classics, muscle cars, exotics, daily drivers, even unique or quirky vehicles. Productions often ask for a wide range. (Even boats & planes, you name it!)
Q: Am I required to accept every shoot?
No. Submitting your car doesn’t lock you into anything. Each shoot has its own terms, and you decide whether or not to participate.
Q: How much will I get paid?
Compensation depends on the type of project, length of project, location of the shoot, and value of the car.
We’ll go over details with you before any commitment is made, and you choose your own payout method.
Q: Is my car safe during shoots?
Yes. A Malibu Autobahn handler always comes to set to make sure your vehicle is cared for properly. We treat your car as if it were our own. Our clients are insured, licensed, professional productions.
Q: Who decides how my car is used?
You do. If you’re not comfortable with what a project entails, you can always pass.
Q: Can I still use my car normally?
Absolutely, keep using your car as you normally do. Your car stays with you unless you agree to a specific shoot. We will ask you for updated photos when a shoot arises.
Q: Do I need to leave my car for long periods of time?
No. Most shoots are just for a day. You’ll know exactly when and how long your car is needed before agreeing to anything.
